Program Introduction


The Advanced Social Media Marketing Certificate is designed to assist
organizations that understand the importance of social media to have a
clear understanding of the types of social media tools that they need to
support their organizational strategies and objectives. The six
advanced modules focus on how to enhance or perfect existing social
media implementations, regardless of the current channels that are being
utilized. Addressing three key issues that are currently presenting
organizations with their greatest challenges, the Advanced Social Media
Marketing Certificate focuses on establishing and maintaining a deeper
relationship with your customers through social media, success measures
including their monitoring and measurement, and the management of
multiple social media channels in a team environment. All essential
skill sets for organizations that are beginning to grow and expand their
social media integration. Consistent with the rapidly changing social
media environment, the final module focuses on some significant emerging
social media channels. In order to attend the Advanced Social Media
Marketing Certificate, completion of at least Module 1 of the Social
Media and E-Marketing Certificate is required. While the entire
certificate does not have to be completed, an understanding of the role
of social media strategy is critical to the components of this
certificate.
