Business Process Management for Workflow Efficiency
Gardiner Centre - Faculty of Business Administration, Memorial University on LinkedIn

Are your business processes defined, repeatable, managed and optimized?  Learn how to identify, implement and manage process improvements that impact on your core business applications and improve organizational effectiveness.

Organizations need efficient business processes to ensure they make the best use of valuable resources such as time, money and effort.  Improving operational efficiencies results in cost savings and increased customer satisfaction.  This seminar will introduce frameworks for analyzing existing processes and implementing new ones.  You will learn a business process lifecycle model that covers all activities from process discovery, through process design, implementation, roll-out, evaluation, to process improvement.  This seminar will provide you with experience with modern process design tools and languages, workflow management systems, and process mining software.

Participants will analyze and design business processes in small groups and will develop process models using standard design languages.
